How to convert video for Zune

Step 1 : Download Kigo Video Converter, install it

Step 2: add video files

Launch Kigo Video Converter. You can add your video files by pressing "Add Files" button to add video from your Mac, or you can just drag and drop your video into the application.

Step 3: Select video format for Microsoft Zune

In the application select output format from "Profile" drop-down list. Since Microsoft Zune supports MP4 and WMV formats, you can select the corresponding video formats.

You can set the output filename and output path by clicking "Output Filename" and "Output Directory".

If you do not want to convert the whole video file, you can set "Start Time" and "Stop Time" to convert a part of the video.

Step 4. Change default profile as needed

If you don't want to use the default video or audio encoding settings, just click the "Video" or "Audio" button to set these settings. In "Video" dialog box, you still can set the parameters such as video codec, video size, bit rate, video fps and more to get the better video quality.

If the converted files belong to audio files, you can set the parameters such as audio codec, audio bitrate, sample rate, audio channel and more to get the better audio quality in "Audio" dialog box.

In the end of the dropdown list of profile, there is an item named "Save current profiles...". Click on it will update the preset profiles to be current profiles. If you have changed some of the profiles but don't click the item, it won't be saved when you quit the application.

Step 5. Convert video for Microsoft Zune

Click "Convert" button, then Kigo Video Converter will start encoding your source video into desired output format.

Step 6. Find the converting and converted file

When encoding is on-going or finished, go to left panel, click "Library",in the dialog-box, you will find the converted files in the corresponding format label. You also can see the converting dialog-box by clicking "converting" button. And in the middle window, right click on the converted file and select Open File Location, then you can check this video in the output folder from the hard drive.
